Dear Guest,

My name is Anne Rorke, on behalf of our Executive Committee, I would like to welcome you to Western Lectern Toastmasters Club - Baulkham Hills.

 

Our goal is to help each other increase our confidence in the art of communication, learn valuable leadership skills and to simply build up our self esteem.

 

Practising regularly at club meetings and completing various assignments in the Toastmasters Education program, is the best way to improve your public speaking skills and challenge yourself to achieve, inspire and succeed in a way you never thought possible.

 

So, as a courtsey to you and for your time in visiting us, we have a "VISITORS PACK" for you to take home and peruse at your leisure. It contains:

• Introduction to Toastmasters
• A FREE "Lectern Notes" Monthly Club Newsletter
• A FREE Toastmasters International Magazine
• What it cost to join Western Lectern Toastmasters.
• An Application form.

This is your invitation to attend our next meeting.

 

Meet:   1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month 

Time:   7:15 for 7:30pm start.

Venue: Hills District Bowling Club - Jenner Street Baulkham Hills

 

Come along and experience the friendly and supportive atmosphere.

 

Our club has 32 inspiring members and growing with enthusiasm. We currently have 20-25 members attending each meeting and there is no cost to attend.

You are under no pressure to participate in the meeting, however you will get the opportunity to do so if you wish. For example, at the beginning of the meeting, we encourage both members and visitors to speak for a brief 10 seconds in  ROLL CALL, informing us of their name, home suburb and something of interest that occurred during to last two weeks.  This helps everyone to get to know each other, especially newer members and visitors, and gives everyone a chance to speak.
